| The Jade Academy is for Mind-Bodyworkers. It is a complementary healing school and center that focuses on the interactions among the mind and body, and the powerful ways in which emotional, mental, spiritual, and behavioral factors can directly affect health. We believe that physical health is influenced by thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and conversely, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can be influenced by physical symptoms. Wellness is the integration of the two.
The Academy offers educational strategies to promote emotional well-being, spiritual nourishment and physical health. We view illness as an opportunity for personal growth and transformation, and health care providers as catalysts who guide in this process. Mind-body therapy courses teach you how to take control of your life, how to use your own healing power to maintain or regain the health in yourself and others.
